In this help article, we will explain how to upgrade the firmware on the Control One.
Step 1: Connect the Control One to a computer via USB Port 1
Step 2: Launch SoundSwitch and if a new firmware version is available the following button will be displayed in the top menu bar.

Select this button to update the firmware.
Step 3: The following prompt will be displayed, select the "Update" button to continue with the firmware upgrade or select "Later"
Step 5: The firmware will start updating
Step 6: Once the update is complete, select "Done"

Troubleshooting:
If your Control One fails or does not complete the Firmware Update Process this is most likely due to the required USB Drivers not being installed correctly.
Follow the below troubleshooting steps to complete the process:
1. Navigate to the Windows Device Manager and locate the Control One Device.
2. Right-click on the Control One Device and select "Properties" now select the "Driver" tab then "Uninstall Device"
3. Select "Attempt to remove the driver for this device" and then "Uninstall"
4. Once the Driver has been uninstalled you can uninstall SoundSwitch via the Windows "Add & Remove Programs" Contro Panel
Note: Uninstalling the SoundSwitch application will not delete and SoundSwitch related Data eg SoundSwitch projects etc.
2. Once you have uninstalled SoundSwitch reboot your computer.
3. Now reinstall SoundSwitch via the installer. When installing right click on the installer file and select the "Run as Admin" option.
4. Complete installation Start SoundSwitch and complete the Firmware Update Process.
